Under the supervision of Emeritus Professor Philippe G. Ciarlet, I earnt a Ph.D. in Mathematics from City University of Hong Kong. The main theme of my Ph.D. dissertation was the justification of dimensionally reduced models governing the deformation of linearly elastic shells subjected to an obstacle.

Now I am a Zorn Postdoctoral Fellow at Indiana University Bloomington. I am affiliated with the Group of Applied Mathematics and Partial Differential Equations. My Mentor at Indiana University is Distinguished Professor Roger M. Temam, with whom I am working on problems in Mathematical Biology and Climate Change Dynamics.
